Just a Week Away.....

Hello, after a long absence.  I'd been planning to finish our Italy trip with some photos of our 3 days in Rome, but just haven't gotten there.  Maybe this week?

A week from today we'll be leaving the island to stay overnight so that we can catch a plane to Calgary for a visit with our daughter and her husband and son, who is almost 2 already!  Where does the time go?  We hope to be able to get out to the Rockies for a day and visit some places we haven't been to yet, and maybe have a picnic, if the weather is nice over the Labour Day Weekend.  Last time we were there in September the leaves were all yellow, and we had a lovely drive down to Longview on the Kananaskis Trail.  Check out our posts from that time (2010).

We'll be in Calgary for a week, then home for about 12 days before heading to Poland and Belarus for 2-3 weeks for a tour.  Hope to be able to post a bit from there, but who knows what the connections will be like.  We'll try, though.  Our travel days continue.........
