At the rodeo we saw calf-roping, bull-riding, bareback bronco riding, etc, which was something new for all of us. All this took place in the large Stampede oval and we sat in the open air stands; luckily our seats were under the overhang as the sun was still hot in the afternoon. There were scary rides to go on, but we didn't take advantage!
